Sheriff Solomon: 170 signatures will be sent to Talabani again.

BAGHDAD / Nina / MP form Kurdish coalition forces Sharif Sulaiman confirmed that there are 170 signatures demanding withdrawal of confidence form Prime Minister Nori al-Maliki and will be sent again to President Jalal Talabani.

Sulaiman said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / today:
"The signatures are the best evidence that these blocs are determined to withdraw confidence from Maliki and continuing their efforts and will not give up their constitutional right to withdraw confidence."

He added:
"The request to withdraw confidence from Maliki represents the will of people within the constitution and the democratic approach, especially as each deputy represents one hundred thousand citizens, and this means that more than 17 million Iraqis who want to change the government. And this number is not a small number, and there must be respect for the will of this majority. "

He pointed out that any delay in withdrawal of confidence from the Prime Minister would not be consistent with the Constitution, and the current reality makes it imperative to the President, the heads of political blocs and members of Parliament to implement this constitutional procedure as soon as possible.
