    BGG says(7:18 PM):
Speaking of ?? marks - tonite will be a little different. It's an "All Q & A all the time session"...

NOTHING IS OFF THE TABLE. You ask - I answer. Simple

    aminmaine says(7:18 PM):
    yes~~

    BGG says(7:18 PM):
    (I'll try not to deflect)

    sometimes it just happens.

So - who's gonna' start us off?

    I'm ready when you are.

    aminmaine says(7:19 PM):
what are you most excited about lately?

    BGG says(7:19 PM):
All of it. Hard to pin my interest on any one thing...

    aminmaine says(7:20 PM):
    ok top five?

    BGG says(7:20 PM):
and maybe that is the exciting part - it isn't just one thing. It's the forward velocity on virtually all fronts.

    aminmaine says(7:21 PM):
the reason i am asking is that i am unable to read much these days. i have a concussion

    jimplants says(7:21 PM):
did i hear right that all 8 laws that are needed are in a basket together?

    BGG says(7:23 PM):
    5) IMHO there is more to this comment by Abadi over Mosul taking 3 more months the other day... I really doubt that proves to be accurate... translation? Political posturing? Some kind of intentinal mislead?? IDK - but it does seem at odds with most of his previous commentary.

    4) The recovery of stolen monies by the GOI - big news. They are looking to put an end to the culture of corruption.

(note the treatment Maliki received recently on his visits to the South - they "ran him out on a rail"... Like the movie "Oh Brother where Art Thou...")

    3) The passage of the J&A Law - HUGE piece...

    loop says(7:26 PM):
My take on the 3 months timeline is that it would take that long to totally eradicate Isis. I think Mosul will be under the Iraqis control way before then.

    BGG says to loop(7:26 PM):
Could be - and likely what he meant.

    wilson6060 says(7:26 PM):
Do you think Iraq is feeling any kind of urgency to complete the economic reform as of late.

    BGG says to loop(7:26 PM):
    Good catch.

    MrsBGG says(7:27 PM):
Just a reminder Welcome to News Time! For anyone who is new, if you have a question or comment during News Time, you can use a ? It makes it easier on the copiers and readers Thank you all for joining us tonight Sit back, relax, & enjoy

    BGG says(7:28 PM):
    2) 1) General forward velocity of all the Economic and Financial reforms going on right now - they are really building an economy - FAST.

    wilson6060 says(7:28 PM):
    oops sorry MrsBGG

    MrsBGG says to wilson6060(7:28 PM):
    no worries

    aminmaine says(7:28 PM):
thank you so much for that BGG! i really appreciate it

    BGG says(7:28 PM):
    1) Obviously - the statements by the current Gov of the CBI concerning their "beginning of 2017" timeline - HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    mfree05 says(7:29 PM):
    ?

    BGG says(7:29 PM):
those just some quickies off the top of my head

    wilson6060 says(7:29 PM):
    TYVM

    aminmaine says(7:29 PM):
    big things indeed

    BGG says to wilson6060(7:30 PM):
I don't know that "urgency" is in their vocabulary - but they are moving forward with "extreme prejudice". Much of this progress is highly likely the oversight of the IMF/WB at play - they say - Iraq does, IT WORKS. Good stuff.

    MrsBGG says to mfree05(7:31 PM):
    Go

    BGG says to loop(7:31 PM):
    Thoughts??

    mfree05 says(7:31 PM):
Can Iraq go international with their currency before the UNSC meets and officially releases the final two sanctions? I believe Iraq has completed all required of them on these two items, but might we be waiting on the full UNSC to meet for the vote to find out?

    loop says(7:31 PM):
I agree urgency is not what I am seeing.
Remember that this is a plan and as it is unfolding the pace should pickup pace..

    BGG says to loop(7:32 PM):
    Agreed.

    wilson6060 says(7:33 PM):
    y

    dinarstudent says(7:33 PM):
    ??

    loop says(7:34 PM):
its call momentum. Now that they got this ship point downstream things that they put into play 1 or 2 or more years ago will start bear fruit.

    BGG says to mfree05(7:34 PM):
the assumption the "Iraq can GO international with their currency" is a flawed viewpoint. They need this international support to do such a thing.

    BGG says to loop(7:34 PM):
we call that BIG MO around here... when you got it - you got it... don't let it go. It's hard to get back.

    BGG says to loop(7:34 PM):
    BIG MO

    BGG says to mfree05(7:36 PM):
Where would Iraq be if no one is willing to accept whatever change they put forth?? Like Saddam - he didn't want to follow the USD down... it didn't matter, they made the currency what they wanted to. Essentially saying "this is all we'll pay for it..."

    mfree05 says(7:37 PM):
Thanks BGG, I agree 100%. Hope the UNSC meets soon to provide the clearance.

    BGG says to mfree05(7:38 PM):
The IMF and WB are much more important - the UNSC will be lucky if they exist in a year or two.

    loop says(7:38 PM):
The world is behind Iraq 110%.. IMO.. It's not just because of the economic potiential. I think it is also for the stability they they will bring to the region.

    BGG says to loop(7:38 PM):
Exactly - however, this seems to be a recent trend over the last year or so. It was not always so.

AND my comment was only to illustrate the "Guru-ish point" that Iraq can GO anywhere.

they will get to do what they get support (and guidance) to do.

they succeed thus far - because they are listening and doing.

    jimplants says(7:40 PM):
excellent point a democracy in the region willing to take on radicals

    dinarstudent says(7:40 PM):
do you think they can pull off going international with the dinar by the end jan 2017 or do you think will need feb even to end of first 1/4 ??

    loop says to BGG(7:40 PM):
I agree. I think the before they were willing to support them they needed to see IRaq's willingness to truly change and Abadi and company have downr just that.

    dinarstudent says(7:40 PM):
    opps

    dinarstudent says(7:40 PM):
    sorry

    BGG says to dinarstudent(7:41 PM):
She does that to me all the time...

    BGG says to dinarstudent(7:41 PM):
then yells GRACE!!! running down the hall...

    loop says to BGG(7:41 PM):
This is the the GOI of the past. Sure they still have a long way to go to totoally clean house, but they are making strides in that direction every day.

    BGG says(7:42 PM):
    Hang on - BRB

    loop says to BGG(7:42 PM):
    This is not the GOI..

    BGG says(7:45 PM):
They do have a ways to go - but they really look like they are making a real effort.

    BGG says to dinarstudent(7:45 PM):
    Back to your question...

    dinarstudent says(7:46 PM):
    y

    BGG says to dinarstudent(7:46 PM):
My honest answer - I think they easily COULD. Will they? I have no clue. Not one.

    dinarstudent says(7:47 PM):
it seem they are close but imo i think they have some way to go ...
they did say the first 1/4 of 2017 so with all they have 90 days correct

    dinarstudent says(7:49 PM):
am i on the right track

    Zig says(7:50 PM):
Gurus are tellin' peeps to expect the RV by this weekend.....lol

    Same BS....

    BGG says to Zig(7:50 PM):
That is par for the course.

of course - how is that different from any other weekend??

    in Crazy Land?

    dinarstudent says(7:52 PM):
guru call it ever other day from .10 to $12.00 lol why people still even go to web site is nutts

    Zig says(7:52 PM):
True....the sad thing is that the majority of people believe them still....

    BGG says to Zig(7:53 PM):
not really... but it's like a train wreck - they can't look away, either

most people - when you talk to them, don't REALLY believe...

on the other hand - I am reallhy hooked on these latest Alak comments.

    dinarstudent says(7:54 PM):
well thank you all for the great site . going put the kids to bed ...

    Zig says(7:54 PM):
I always tell people to only listen to people like you guys and maybe a couple of others who do research.....

    BGG says to Zig(7:55 PM):
    research is the key.

    Zig says(7:55 PM):
Of course even those who do research disagree....as you well know.....

    kalis says(7:56 PM):
    ?

    loop says to BGG(7:57 PM):
It's key to know whois saying it and then ask yourself why. FOr example if Alak is quoted I and going to look harder at what he has said then a source who would not be named.

    BGG says to Zig(7:58 PM):
that can happen - but researchers usually don't blame "a no RV situation" on a broken antenna. Stuff like that

    MrsBGG says to kalis(7:58 PM):
    Go

    kalis says(7:58 PM):
first i want to thank you all of you

    loop says(7:59 PM):
Alak has been sending the same message and really has not moved away from it for well over a year now.

    BGG says to loop(8:00 PM):
Amen - I told folks a long time ago... figure out who's talking - who are they talking to - and why??

    magnetlady says(8:00 PM):
    ??

    MrsBGG says to magnetlady(8:00 PM):
    GO

    magnetlady says(8:01 PM):
I am reading this to Martha Sue on the phone. She asked if loop could tell her what Alak has been saying for the last year. Which point is loop talking about from Alak. Thank you

    loop says(8:01 PM):
Saleh, Antione, and Alnasiri have been working overtime backing that message, educating the public and in Alnasiris case chastising the obstructionist when they try to stir things up.

    magnetlady says(8:02 PM):
    Thanks Loop

    loop says(8:03 PM):
He gave the green light to start the project to delete the zeros over the year ago.

Well before that they they pull the 50s off the street. Ask yourself why would a worthless note need to be pulled.

Because ot the new 50 that they were planning on release IMO

    magnetlady says(8:05 PM):
    Well that makes sense

    loop says(8:05 PM):
    THen they were white listed..

There are so many bread crumbs that all point to the same thing.

    BGG says(8:08 PM):
    OK - on that note...

    loop says(8:08 PM):
Here is one of Alak's more recent quotes: He noted that the solution in Iraq lies in dollar demand reduction through structural correction of the Iraqi economy, and not through refraining from selling the dollar.

solution in Iraq lies in dollar demand reduction

reduction through structural correction of the Iraqi economy,

    BGG says(8:09 PM):
and how do they accomplish that??

    loop says(8:10 PM):
    HUGE HUGE HUGE

    BGG says(8:10 PM):
    in "dollar demand reduction"??

    agreed...

    loop says(8:10 PM):
THe deletionof those pesky zeors is how.

    BGG says to loop(8:10 PM):
    : D

    BGG says to loop(8:10 PM):
    Bingo.

    loop says(8:12 PM):
I have one paragraph from an article by Alnasiri today that I would like to bring.

He added that to facilitate measures to ensure that the ultimate beneficiary if an ordinary citizen or a merchant, and in a transparent manner requires that banks disclose the previous Khovatha and filter regulators Notes to control the dollar was trading movement locally and abroad Ohz would clean reputation Banking Iraqi abroad and the correspondent banks and thereby restore confidence sector Iraqi banking locally and internationally, which will be reflected on the development and stimulate the banking sector and provide better services to the public.

    loop says(8:14 PM):
I want to leave you with this to ponder. Why would they need to restore confidence in the international banking sector it they had no intentions on their currency being internationally recognized?
    loop says(8:15 PM):
    if they..

    magnetlady says(8:15 PM):
    AMEN loop

    loop says(8:16 PM):
    That all I've got.

    BGG says to loop(8:18 PM):
    Then

    That's a WRAP!!

    Thanks folks.

    aminmaine says(8:18 PM):
    awesome session

    MrsBGG says(8:18 PM):

    aminmaine says(8:18 PM):

    BGG says to loop(8:18 PM):

    loop says to BGG(8:19 PM):
