The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Tuesday, accepting applications now for the Middle East partnership initiative for democratic leaders Fellowship 2017.

UM, the US Embassy said in a statement/balance of news/copy, that "this program funded by the US State Department which supports the objectives of the strategic framework agreement between the United States and Iraq, will provide an opportunity for young people and civil society leaders who are in the middle of their careers the opportunity to complete specialized and intensive academic training."

The study will be either at the University of Virginia (English) or at the American University of Beirut (Arabic language), as well as relevant professional experience in the host organization in Washington DC or Beirut.

She continued, "the Democratic leaders fellowship programme in English and Arabic are open to those aged between 25 and 35 and obtaining the Bachelor degree and speak English or Arabic fluently to ensure successful participation in the Arabic-language universities or those that are taught in English and also professional work."

And confirmed, "applicants must have at least five years experience and have the ability and the obligation to apply the experiences learned in the program to develop and implement a project benefit to the organization or to the community or any other sector in Iraq."

They drew to the Fellowship, will start from the end of February and lasts until may 2017 in the United States and Lebanon, "adding that" the deadline for accepting applications is midnight Monday fell 31 October 2016.
