High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to Jaafari: I will visit Iraq soon to see the situation of displaced Iraqis

Ibrahim al - Jaafari met with Iraqi Foreign Minister on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly in New York , Mr. Filippo Grandi , the High Commissioner for Refugees ( UNHCR ) , and during the meeting to discuss the evolution of the war against gangs Daesh terrorist and humanitarian situation of the displaced people in Iraq.

Dr. Jaafari urged the UN High Commissioner for Refugees of the United Nations to exert more efforts, calling upon the States who have embraced the Iraqis to provide the necessary supplies for them , especially as they are living a humanitarian situations difficult; because of their migration from their home areas following the terrorist attacks, stressing that Iraq is facing a global war against Daesh gangs terrorist who consider lawful blood, and fritter away the Iraqi wealth; causing the phenomenon of displacement inside Iraq, and migration out of Iraq, referring to the adoption of programs and mechanisms to address the effects that hit the displaced, and refugees because of terrorism.

For his part , the High Commissioner for Refugees ( UNHCR ) , Filippo Grandi pointed out that the United Nations is doing all it can to provide the necessary humanitarian needs of the displaced and refugee Iraqis, noting: that the war against terrorism in the region led to the displacement and migration of Iraqis and Syrians, and that in spite of the exceptional circumstances experienced by the Iraq due to the face of terrorism, and the economic crisis , it embraces a number is not a little bit of Syrian refugees, he explained that he discussed on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly in New York with several officials of the world rally humanitarian support, and financial Iraq; to overcome the current crisis, revealing: I'm going to visit Iraq soon to see the Iraqis and refugees displaced Syrians conditions, increase humanitarian aid, in cooperation with the Iraqi government, and
other international organizations size.
