Baghdad (AIN) –MP Ammar Tuma of the Iraqi national Alliance revealed that the committee tasked with setting a draft agenda for the National Meeting has set a time limit to achieve the demands of the blocs.

Member of the Preparatory Committee MP Tuma stated to the All Iraq News Agency (AIN) on Friday “The committee formed by the INA has discussed initial ideas that included adhering to constitution and accomplishing the undone items of Erbil agreement to be proposed for the Alliance to decide about.”

“The Committee also set three main aspects for the detailed agenda which will focus on including guarantees over mechanisms of implementing solutions, setting time limits for accomplishing the items of the settlement and identifying the bodies tasked with achieving the settlement,” he added.

“These points will be presented to the President Jalal Talabani as the guardian of the National Meeting and he will discuss these points with the heads of blocs to decide about the final agenda and the date of the National Meeting,” he stressed.

The President Jalal Talabani has called for holding a National Meeting for all political blocs since the end of 2011, in order to eliminate the disputes among blocs, especially between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition as well as the disputes between the Kurdistani Alliance and the SLC. /End/
