Oil Minister discuss with the development of the oil sector British delegation

The Minister stressed that the Ministry of Oil on the verge of a new era in the oil and gas sector by opening the door for investment in various fields Kqtai distribution, refineries, in addition to the development and upgrading in the field of oil and gas industry which is a vital sector in the ministry.

He called Laibi British companies to enter strongly in the Iraqi industry activities of oil, particularly in the energy and investment of the gas fields, which Iraq possesses him large amounts, calling on them to submit their views and proposals on the development of the oil and gas sector, stressing that 2017 will be the beginning of a new period in the work of the Ministry of Oil through implementation of large projects to promote this important sector.

The minister said the ministry has sought strenuously to overcome all the obstacles that face the work of the international oil companies and to provide full support to them to proceed with their plans and projects.

For its part, congratulated the envoy of the British Prime Minister for Trade, according to the statement delivered Laibi his new post as oil minister and wished him success in the ministry's management and development of the oil sector in the country, stressing that her country is seeking to develop work with the ministry and move towards new horizons of work in the coming period.
