The provincial inspectorate revealed of the Inspector General's Office of the Ministry of the Interior Tuesday, 16 administrative and financial corruption in various Ministry departments in the provinces with the exception of the capital, during the month of August.

The Inspectorate said in its report for the month of August of the current year and received/balance of news copy, "the provincial inspectorate offices scattered across the country except for the capital during the past month has implemented 16 inspection activity, including 9 inspection committees and accounting committees 7.

The report added that "those committees could monitor 16 administrative and financial corruption, between indicators (functional exploitation, bribery and fraud and waste public money embezzlement).

He continued, "the inspection activities that may have been detected cases of corruption by the Inspector General offices in the provinces of Salahuddin, Diyala, Najaf and Diwaniyah, Babel, Wasit, Anbar," stating that "inspection committees around in those offices inspected a number of Ministry services in those provinces.

The report noted that "the Directorate committees had dozens of joints around the Ministry's inspection visits throughout the provinces of the country which stood on the functioning of those joints and circuits and followed their activities and their conformity with the requirements and professional standards."
