Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al- Sisi met US presidential candidates, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton, on Monday, during his visit to the United States to attend the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
Sisi held a meeting with Trump for minutes at at his residence in New York, he said the Republican candidate 's campaign said in a statement that Trump stressed the need to work with Egypt in order to defeat terrorism.
Earlier, he met with Clinton Sisi where they discussed how to push Egypt towards the adoption of new civil and modern state upholds the rule of law and respect human rights and freedoms, according to Reuters society.
Sisi began a visit to New York, Sunday, lasts six days, where he is also scheduled to meet with members of Congress and influential figures in the Democratic and Republican parties.
He is scheduled to meet with Egyptian President a number of heads of major US companies, including General Electric Company, and the Council of the Egyptian American businessmen, and members of the American Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the promotion of US investment in Egypt.
And it preempted the American Coptic Association Sisi 's visit to announce the organization of a conference to support Egypt economically
