Iraq ranked 37 between States possessing gold fixed reserve

World Gold Council, said Saturday that Iraq's reserves of gold fixed 7.1% represents foreign currency reserves, noting that Iraq is still ranked among the 37 States that have the gold reserves.

The Council cited official statistics website seen by "economy" to "Iraq's reserves of gold remained fixed and unchanged at 89.9 tons", noting that "this amount represents 7.1% of its reserves of foreign currency, having represented 4.6% during January.

The Board added that "Iraq didn't buy gold since buying him in April 2014 where bought by 15.16 tons", noting that "Iraq 37 class of 100 State gold reserves have been included in the report of the global Central Bank reserves."
