Attorney - Jubouri demanding financial move away from the "stall" to conduct reforms

He demanded the Parliamentary Finance Committee member Haitham al-Jubouri, Sunday, the Ministry of Finance and the Iraqi government to stay out of "procrastination" to conduct financial and economic reforms, saying that the severe shortage of financial statements and failure to implement reform measures behind the lack of resolution of the agreement with the IMF on a loan to Iraq.


Jubouri said in an interview with Alsumaria's News, a copy of it, that "the great lack of financial data on deficit and debt and benefits, as well as non-implementation of the agreed reform measures by the Ministry of Finance with the International Monetary Fund are the reasons because it does not resolve the agreement with the IMF to release loan of Iraq. "

He said al-Jubouri, that "led to the non-arrival of the meetings of Amman to the planned targets and failing to convince the representatives of the IMF these procedures," and urged the Ministry of Finance and the Iraqi government to "take the real role of the completion of the serious steps away from the stall to conduct financial and economic reforms."

He said al-Jubouri, "in spite of the deliberate Ngyibna We in the Finance Committee are following with great interest the results of these meetings, and despite the lack of transparency," stressing said "we will hold strongly originators of this imbalance."

The Ministry of Finance announced, on Saturday, for the conclusion of the Iraq talks with the International Monetary Fund to review the implementation of the standby credit program in the Jordanian capital, Amman, while confirming its intention to continue the discussions and consultations through regular annual meetings of the IMF and World Bank in October next in Washington.
