Discuss oil and energy parliamentary Committee member Zahir Abadi with Japanese Ambassador in Baghdad, energy and a number of issues that serve the two of them Japanese loans to support the industrial sector notably Al Hartha station fertilizer support loan, as these loans contributed to the revitalization of the industrial sector in various areas to support Iraqi economy.

Abadi said the Japanese Ambassador asked to open a Consulate in Basra and activate community alalaka between peoples and to send request for Tokyo to consider it and special support for civil society organizations and the scientific and cultural frontiers through collaboration with universities, especially the University of Basra for fellowship missions to Japan to exchange scientific expertise.

Abbadi noted that Japanese Ambassador visits Basra soon to follow productive projects based on which has been borrowing from the Japanese Government and the success of these projects especially Al Hartha station and fertilizer plant and other projects in the port sector-backed loan.

He explained that the visit underlines Japan's support of Iraqi industry and in particular chemical fertilizer plant that tried to shut it off political contacts with illogical reasons but national production continues despite all the circumstances.

He described his meeting with Deputy Japanese Ambassador that augurs well for the Basra diplomatic policies and requires consolidation of conservative reality reflected relationships and its as successful plans and studies. (End)
