Maliki, Larijani discuss sustaining parliamentary cooperation

Baghdad (AIN) –A statement by the office of the Iraqi Premier assured that “PM Maliki discussed during his meeting on last Sunday evening with the Iranian Speaker Ali Larijani means of sustaining the parliamentary cooperation between Iraq and Iran through exchanging visits among the officials of both countries.”




“Maliki stressed importance of concluding meetings among the Iraqi Ministers of Planning, Industry and Trade with their Iranian counterparts to discuss the means of speeding up executing agreements concluded between both sides,” the statement added.




Maliki has arrived in Iran last Sunday to meet with the Iranian President Nijad, Vice-President Mohammed Rahimi and he is scheduled to meet later today, Monday with the Commander of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Grand Ayatollah Ali Khaminae. /End
