Ja'afari called Jordan to facilitate the granting of visas for Iraqis

Ibrahim Jaafari, Foreign Minister Tuesday, Jordan to facilitate the granting of visas for Iraqis who want to travel to Jordan, stressing the need to develop ways of cooperation between Baghdad and Oman.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement the Sumerian received news copy, "the Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari met with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister Jawad Anani in Mauritania's capital of Nouakchott on the sidelines of the Summit, Arabic, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries."

Jafari said, according to the statement, that "the victory achieved by the Iraqi armed forces with all combinations is a victory for all Arabs," he said, adding that "Iraqi forces have achieved major victories with the cooperation of all Iraqis of different backgrounds.

Ja'afari stressed "the need to develop ways of cooperation between Iraq and Jordan in the interests of the two peoples," calling on the Jordanian side to facilitate the granting of visas for Iraqis who wish to travel to Jordan.

For his part, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, expressed "his Government's readiness to provide assistance in all areas, and keen to strengthen relations between the two countries in all fields and ways of confronting terrorism which is a threat to all countries in the world," congratulated Iraq "the victories achieved by freeing many areas of terrorism."
