US warns its citizens of an imminent threat in Jeddah

State Department warned on Thursday of a "possible imminent threat" to US citizens in areas frequented by Westerners in the city of Jeddah, western Saudi Arabia.
The Reuters news agency quoted for the US consulate in Jeddah, saying it had received reports of "possible imminent threat" against its nationals in Jeddah.
He said US State Department spokesman, John Kirby: "it is a security message, not a travel warning, published by our consulate in Jeddah. I felt our consulate that the information has sufficient credibility, and serious enough to require send this message immediately."
