Central Bank warns citizens to deal with Basra International Bank instruments

Iraqi Central Bank warned Wednesday, citizens of Basra International Bank dealing with investment, noting that the Bank stop exercising all banking business.

The Bank said in a statement that "the citizens not to accept any instrument issued by international investment bank of Basra to stop all banking."

The Bank said that the Bank had been put under guardianship coercive CBI resolution 1485 in June 2012 in accordance with article 69 Banking Act 2004. "

The Central Bank announced on June 6, present, imposing Trusteeship on economy Bank for finance and investment, noting that form of guardianship committees composed of three people for 18 months, extendable to prepare a report on the financial situation and future prospects of the Bank.
