Carter's up to Afghanistan after Iraq visit

According to the agency , "Rotarz" news, " The Carter visited unannounced to Afghanistan , where he will meet with senior US commanders and Afghan leaders , including President Ashraf Abdel Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah.
Carter had arrived on Monday to Baghdad on an unannounced visit during which he met with senior Iraqi officials.
Carter 's visit comes days after President Barack Obama fell for reducing US forces in Afghanistan by about half by the end of the year and his decision instead to retain the 8,400 troops there until the end of his presidential term in January after.
