Iraq and the European Union agree to unify positions in the meetings of the ozone agreement

Iraq agreed and the European Union, to unify positions in the meetings of the ozone Convention, which will be held in the Austrian capital next month.
A statement by the Ministry of Environment, the Agency has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that "the art dealer to the Ministry of Health and Environment discussed with the president of the European Union mission in Baghdad, the prospects of cooperation between the EU and Iraq in an open-ended agreement ozone scheduled to be held in the Austrian capital next month's meetings, noting that "the two sides agreed to unify attitudes toward proposals to be submitted by the European Group for the Convention on ozone in line with the orientations of Iraq in the international conventions on the environment."
"It was discussed during the meeting urged the European Community to file nomination marshes of Iraq as part of the World Heritage list of UNESCO scheduled to vote this month in Turkey, pointing to the importance represented by the Iraqi Marshlands and distinctive legacy of human and environmental nature.
Iraq had begun to move to the ozone-friendly industries and changing the outdated production lines after the entry into force of the Convention.
