BAGHDAD: The federal judiciary announced on Monday that the country's courts have released 10,373 detainees have not been convicted, including attributed to them in the past month, as pointed out that 3456 of them Kano accused of "terrorism."

The spokesman for the judiciary Judge Abdul Sattar Bayraktar said in a statement that "the courts of the country released during the month of May, about 10,373 detainees have not been convicted, including attributed to them." Eliminating released 9250 suspended during last April Bayraktar, adding that "the 8999 detainees were released during the investigation stage," adding that "1374 others have been released during the trial phase."

Bayraktar said that "the 3456 detainees who were released had been charged in accordance with Article IV of the Anti-Terrorism Act," adding that "the sum of unresolved cases in the League of investigation and trial amounted to 11,573 detainees during May."

And announced that the federal judiciary, in the register (July 232,016) release of 9250 detainees have not been convicted, including charges attributed to them during the month of April, pointing out that 1099 of them was accused of terrorism, as pointed out that the sum of unresolved cases amounted to 11,327 defendants.
