Sky News: US ground forces participated battle south of Mosul

The website of Sky News, said that "US ground force as well as Iraqi government forces on Thursday, in an attack on the organization Daash sites in areas surrounding the city of Mosul."

The United States has always denied any involvement in the wilderness of Iraq without a request from Baghdad but acknowledged special operations limited goals against Daash.

Sky News quoted sources in the province of Kurdistan Peshmerga forces that "American troops participated for the first time with the Iraqi army in the south of Mosul attack."
