Iraqi Airways launches new air line between Basra and Baku

Iraqi Airways announced on Tuesday, starting his first trip to transport passengers to Azerbaijan, and it marked the launch of a new air route between Basra International Airport, Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku by one trip per week.



The director of the Office of Basra Airlines International Airport Kadhim al-Mayahi that "an Iraqi Airways plane took off shortly before the Basra International Airport in the first direct flight to transport passengers to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Azerbaijan."



Mayahi said that "the new air route between Basra province and the city of Baku (Azerbaijan's capital) includes the conduct of one flight per week can be increased in the future."
