Iran: Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr in Qom does not intend to return to Iraq now

Said "Iranian diplomacy" is close to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said Friday that the cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, located in the city of Qom, noting that it does not intend to return to Iraq until further notice site.

The newspaper "Al Quds Al Arabi" quoted Iranian website as saying, "The Iranian Foreign Ministry refuted the official visit to Muqtada al-Sadr and his meeting with senior Iranian officials, not its presence in the city of Qom."

The site, citing an informed source, that "Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr wants to stay in Iran for an indefinite period, and that he had no plans to return to Iraq at the present time."

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr left earlier this month to Iran on an unannounced visit, with reservations Sadrists to give any information on that visit.
