Danish Parliament
Roudao - Erbil
The Danish Parliament agreed overwhelmingly to send 400 troops and eight fighter jets to participate in military operations against the "Islamic State" Daash, in Syria and Iraq.
And it received the plan announced by Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen last month with the support of 90 deputies opposed by 19 deputies.
The Prime Minister said in a statement that "the terrorist organization Islamic state and barbaric and ruthless should face a strong response" from foreign countries.
Under the proposed law, passed by parliament, the Danish government will send from the middle of this year, 400 military personnel, including 60 component of the special forces, and seven F -16 fighter jets and transport aircraft C-130 LG.
So far, Denmark did not interfere with a member of the international coalition, only in Iraq, where it has sent seven fighter jets F-16s until the autumn of 2015, and has about 120 soldiers and technically Danish Iraq to train security forces.
