Brett is a Mac Gork, who was nominated today by President Barack Obama to be ambassador to the United States in Iraq of the few U.S. diplomats who have followed closely the changes in Iraq since the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Gork and Mac work as a lawyer in the private sector, he practiced litigation and appeals in the Kirkland & Ellis, and was an assistant professor of law at the University of Virginia, where he had given lectures on international law. Worked as an employee of the Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Connecticut, and a PhD from Columbia University / End
