Washington does not intend to allow Iran to use its financial system

A State Department spokesman said Monday that President Barack Obama's administration does not intend to allow Iran to use the US financial system.
Spokesman Mark Toner told reporters, "does not plan administration does not intend to allow Iran to use the US financial system."

Obama said Friday that the United States is not considering allowing the use of its financial system in the US dollar transactions with Iran, although foreign companies can work through European banks.
