The official spokesman for the Ministry of Planning Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said in a press statement that "the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning and completed the inflation report for the month of February 2015 on the basis of field data collection on the prices of goods and services components of the consumer basket of a selected sample of outlets in all governorates of Iraq," noting that "these rates are calculated goods and services of food, rent, transportation, communications, health, education and other include making is keeping consumer."
He Hindawi that "inflation for the month of February, the index rose to 0.1%," adding that "the rise came on surging records for a number of departments, including the Departments of clothing and footwear, housing, and communication prices rose 0.2% each, in addition to the higher section prices Health 0.8% and recreation department by 0.7%. "
He Hindawi that "the annual inflation index is also down 1.5% compared to February of last year in 2015 due to high prices of the Department of Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.1%, in addition to the high section of housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel prices by 1.9%, as well as high and the Department of tobacco increased by 7%. "
Among Hindawi that "the prices of most of the departments have seen a rise in rates during the month of February, causing a rise in the inflation index compared with February of last year in 2015," pointing out that "the Department of household furnishings and equipment prices rose 1.7%, the prices of the Health Department rose 6.7%, while the communications department were notable gainers reached 10.5% and was higher CTO prices 4.2%, and the Department of Education prices rose by 5.8% and prices of restaurants division rose by 3.3%. "
He Hindawi that "the survey, which was conducted during the month of December did not include the three Iraqi provinces because of the security situation witnessed in these provinces," explaining that "the provinces not covered by the survey included the price of Nineveh, Salahaddin, Anbar."
It announced the Central Agency for Statistics and Information Technology through January 2012, it will begin using mechanization in the collection of the different prices and times of a specific time rather than paper form in place earlier, emphasizing that it will contribute to the speed of price collection, accuracy, and correct calculation in case of errors.
