Director-General of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde said that States should continue its policies of non-conventional cash if accompanied by structural reforms and low inflation.

Lagarde's remarks came a day after the governor of India's central bank Rajhoram Rajan central banks around the world to adopt a system for assessing the impact of the wider range of procedures including unconventional monetary policies currently in force.

Lagarde said to reporters at the conclusion of the Conference of the IMF's three days in New Delhi "must monetary policies continue non-traditional in those countries where inflation rates are very low levels and accompany the monetary policy and other measures taken by policy makers in the framework of fiscal and structural reforms."
