Defense Ministry pending the audit of the State Consultative Council to the law of compulsory service

Defense Ministry confirmed, it's waiting for the recommendations of the State Council on the observations and addenda to the draft law of compulsory service.

The media director of the Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry Brigadier Pilot improve Ibrahim al-Khafaji, on Monday, that "the Defense Council sent military service law to the Council of State after the discussion and the formation of its special committee, headed by Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, for the purpose of adding or raise its own observations."

Khafaji said that "the Commission has completed all law studies, and was sent to the State Council to be submitted to the Cabinet and approval, and then to the House of Representatives to be voted on and enacted."

The Ministry of Defence has announced the twenty-fifth of February, for, Defense Council approval, the draft law of compulsory service, before they are submitted to the State Council for examination.
