Information Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement seen by Roudao Media Network, he said that "al-Abadi met with the President and members of the economic and investment commission in Parliament, and assured during the meeting the staff that their salaries ongoing and do not listen to the rumors launched by some that try to obstruct any reform process."

He added Abadi, according to the statement, "We have reduced government spending for 2015 to 60% of what they used to be and we assume a reduction of an additional current fiscal year and are working to reduce dependence on oil fiscal budget," adding that "economic reform needs action and we started working out to move the country to the right path he said, adding that the government needs to reformist team is consistent at the level of application and implementation of the reforms and the general orientation and vision of the government.
