Where Should Our Strength Lie?... Man, or God..

I would like to share my response to an article that was in WND about the failings of mankind over the coarse of history as we have tried time, and time again to govern ourselves... Scripture is quite clear that without God a nation will fall prey to the devices that are Satanically inspired, and lead to suffering, and ultimate death... We pray for our leaders in hope that they will be lead by the Spirit of God, as well as submitting to HIS will... But in the end no man can cleanse a spirit in one that is filled with iniquity, and enslaved by its influence... This of course takes repentance on the part of the individual who is spiritually enslaved by principalities that represent darkness...

One's spiritual eyes must be open to this deception though in order to recognize the need to change... Humbling oneself to the will of our wonderful Creator is not a natural act for a carnal mind... For a carnal mind is an automatic enemy of our Sovereign God.. Whether one understands this or not that is the Truth... Praying daily as we gaze within that spiritual mirror while analyzing ourselves, we must understand that we cannot possibly overcome the world in its current wicked state without the power of God Almighty within us through HIS SON Jesus Christ...

    Here is the article... https://www.wnd.com/2016/02/horrific-...cat_orig=faith

Here is my response in the comments section of the article...

What is interesting to me is the hope that a politician can change what has, and continues to transpire in this country... Only God can cleanse a carnal heart... But it requires repentance on the part of us as individuals...

King Josiah was a man who was able to cleanse the land of the iniquities that were taking place within the kingdom of Judah from a physical standpoint... But this king, as fervent as he was, could not change the spirit that each individual within this kingdom possessed... The spirit in mankind is what needs to be enlightened by God, and strengthened by HIS SPIRIT in order to ensure one is on the right path...

We are not ruled by a monarchy within this country... One person cannot change this... It takes all of the branches of government to be on board in order to change laws which God considers an abomination... Think Satan has not covered his bases?...

The bottom line is that every form of governance humanity has tried ended in failure in the end... Why?... SIN... Mankind is more inclined to practice sin than that which our Creator considers righteous behavior...Which is summarized within HIS 10 commandments...

At some point this experiment is going to end at the appointed time of God.. But only until humanity is on the brink of self annihilation due to the unbridled practice of hedonism... Which leads to death... Always, has, and always will...

We have always needed to be ruled by God... During the time in Garden of Eden we rejected God's will, while allowing Satan's influence to be our first parents guide... Israel rejected God as their king also during the time of the judge, and prophet Samuel...

Humanity pays God lots of lip service, but we have failed miserably as a whole as it pertains to exercising HIS will on HIS earth... But God has allowed for it to occur, and planned for it in HIS wisdom, with the understanding of what we needed in order to truly appreciate that which HE has to offer us as the alternative to the misery that has plagued us since the original sin was committed...

Learning the lessons of the past have not been a strong point for most who have lived on God's earth... Some have, but most have not... Which is why it is necessary for the return of God's Son Jesus Christ to usher in a time filled with the knowledge of God's righteousness... Which of course is based on love which HE is, and defines in every way..

I would like to conclude this post with a song which I was hoping at some point would be posted on Youtube by the Sons of Korah... It is based on the Psalm of the 59th chapter of this book within scripture... It does indeed remind of the need for us to learn to rely upon the strength, and armor that our Savior, and God provides us through HIS SPIRIT... In order for us to endure, and see through the confusion, and deception that Babylon continues to subject the world to.. This is one of my favorite songs by them... Enjoy!...

Re: Where Should Our Strength Lie?... Man, or God..

Hello Friends... I wrote what will be posted below in 2014 when the unbiblical account of the film Noah came to theaters... Ah, the movie industry is always trying to make God appear unfair, unjust, and flawed in His wisdom... While our Messiah was in the flesh, that too was the case... The reason being was because sinful behavior does effect one's spiritual well being, and when Truth is brought to light, those who oppose HIM, will indeed hate the fact that their true character is being revealed... Blessings, and have a wonderful sabbath day...

As some of you may know the Hollywood version of the story of Noah is in theaters today... What has been interesting about this film is the reaction to it by those who have received and advanced screening of it... Those who know their bible have had a negative reaction due to its inaccuracy when compared to the story of Noah within scripture... What should come as no surprise is that what comes out of the "secular" motion picture industry is often times tainted, and filled with distortions of the truth about any subject matter... Rewriting history has been a primary objective of the mainstream media... Especially when it comes to biblical history... It has been somewhat effective in changing individual viewpoints on who our Creator is, and what He truly stands for... But this has also been done by those said to have been representing God, and His Truth...

Apparently (I have yet to view the film myself) this version of Noah is based on the gnostic view of this account... For those who do not understand gnosticism our Savior addressed it in Revelation chapter 2 verse 15 when addressing the 7 churches... He stated He hated the views of the Nicolaitans.... This way of thinking was a perversion of the true gospel, and it was based on the gnostic view of our Creator... One of the major viewpoints of gnosticism is the fact that we can sin outside of the body, and it will have no effect on us from a spiritual standpoint... Well, how convenient that would be for those who would want to indulge in sinful practices, yet not have to concern yourself about losing eternal life... We all know that repentance is based on an individual being forgiven through Christ Jesus, and the fact that our Father in heaven want's us to overcome our former sinful practices in accordance to His will... So we do have a responsibility to "go and sin no more" so as to grow in grace, and in knowledge while working working out our salvation, which was freely given through the Lamb of God...

There is also the view that the Creator God is equal to Lucifer... Those who are of this gnostic viewpoint believe that we can become gods... The same promise made by Lucifer to Eve, and Adam in the Garden if they subjected themselves to the tree of the knowledge of good, and evil... Those who believe in this false gospel also believe that Yahweh or Adonai has held back knowledge from mankind, and that Lucifer wanted to open, or expand our minds to it in order to be as gods... Well, what is this so called knowledge that was so important for us to learn??... Lawlessness!... God had instructed Adam, and Eve on what was right, and just in His eyes before their sin... It was after being tempted by Lucifer, or the serpent to sin with his deceptive, and enticing promises, and succumbing to this temptation, that they now had the knowledge, via experience, of evil... It became who they were for they were no longer just good, but good, and evil defined them...

Obviously God knew that sin would be committed before it actually happened... But again our Creator wants us to make conscience decisions based on the freedom to choose what is right or wrong... We are continually being tested by God to see if we are truly seeking, and desiring to exercise His will in our lives... Transgressing His Holy commandments does have consequences even though His grace is sufficient... Being forgiven does not necessarily mean we will not be punished in other words... Being ignorant of a sin, or sinning willfully as King David did with Uriah the Hittites wife Bathsheba will determine how God judges ones sinful behavior...

So as this new take on Noah is presented to the public, we shall see some who seek another gospel be taken in by this movies deceptive message... Such has been the case with mankind from the beginning... Looking for a reason to live our lives outside the will of God thus becoming our own god, which is carnal, or satanic in nature... Not taking into consideration that we live on His earth, breath His air, eat the very food He provides, and have been given a spirit by Him in order to have life... So regardless of which path we chose to take (Gods path being the straight, and narrow, or the devil's which is wide and leads to destruction) we are God's property... It is up to us as individual's to either chose the Way (Jesus Christ) that is based on Truth, and give us Life, or the way that will lead one straight to the 2nd death which entails the lake of fire... Those not written in the Lamb's Book of Life during the final judgment will be subject to what scripture describes as the 2nd death... Revelation chapter 20...

We have always needed God to direct our lives... But we have all at some point transgressed His law... In fact as Psalms 51 points out we sinful at birth... Which is why our Creator was willing to die for those who were willing to believe on Him, seek to be at One with Him with the indwelling of His Holy Spirit, and "be ye perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect." It is a choice we all have to make... Our Creator wants us to experience life, and have it abundantly... Sadly we live in a world where we see the results of lawlessness, and its ever increasing grip on humanities spirit as it is practiced, and becomes normal... This again should come as no surprise either as it has been prophesied to transpire before the return of our Beloved Savior...

So while we look forward to the fruits of the RV as it pertains to the flesh, we must realize that the battle that is waged within ourselves continues.. As Paul stated in Romans chapters 7 and 8 even if we want to practice the will of God, we are at war with ourselves in wanting to do so... Which is why our need for the Spirit of the Living God which we receive through our Lord Jesus Christ is absolutely essential to our overcome the lusts of the flesh... The Helper, if we surrender to Him, will indeed give us the strength our inmost being needs to overcome, and grow into the child our Father in heaven wants us to be... But of course this life we lead in Christ Jesus will not be without tests, and our measuring where we are at from a spiritual standpoint as it pertains to our Creator's will... He is there to "help" us, but wants to also judge as to whether or not His will in our lives is what we truly desire...

So in the years to come, while we enjoy the RV let us to do so with the understanding that the flesh is weak... We are being given an opportunity to prepare for the spiritual battle that will increase in intensity in the coming years... We cannot afford to squander this opportunity to draw near to our Father by allowing a spirit of being lethargic or an unwise virgin take hold of us... Read Revelation chapter 3 as Jesus Christ addresses the church at Laodicia... This very spirit could very well happen to any of us, and we cannot afford to allow it to do so as we near the end of this age... The deception will be even greater as time continues... This false messiah will be so convincing given the state of the world, and the desire for the inhabitants to seek anyone to save them from the disastrous state of the world... Which will be in that condition because of mankind's hedonistic state... The irony of this is that mankind will turn to the very one who tempted us to transgress our Creator God's commandments, and look to Satan through the beast in order to find relief for the ill's that will be plaguing mankind... Indeed, the heart is deceitfully wicked, who can know it as scripture points out...

Once mankind goes down that slippery slope of lawlessness defining who we are, we are indeed open game for the devil for the bible does describe him "as a roaring lion who seeks to devour.".... As I have stated before we must not allow ourselves to be lulled into a false sense of security... Just because everything is seemingly OK because of our physical needs being met for the time frame allotted by our Creator, does not mean that His prophetic Word is not going to be fulfilled... Judging by what scripture points out our Loving God is not pleased, and He does get angry... Once transgressions have reached a certain point, in accordance to His will, disaster and chaos will ensue... We must prepare for this while we are being granted an opportunity to do so.. We must not be so caught up in our physical world that we neglect, and fail to prepare for the real war that will indeed test the very state of each and every one of our spiritual lives... It is not a matter of if this will occur, but when...

One more thing... Noah lived before, and after the great flood our Creator caused to punish a sinful mankind... As our Lord Jesus Christ declared in Matthew chapter 24, it would be as in the days of Noah... There will be such peril as it were before the flood, yet the end will not be yet... In other words, there will be great tribulation... This will also be the period of time that the beast, who Satan will give his authority to (Revelation chapter 13 verse 4), and will be allowed to reign by God for a 1260 day period... Why is this modern day Nimrod allowed to rule and reign?... Because, as 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 points out there will be a great majority who will be so consumed with iniquity that they will believe the lie about who this man of sin really is... For those who are not in Christ Jesus, the beast will be their savior, and god... This false messiah's exploits will indeed be impressive on a physical level... This gnostic messiah will indeed celebrate himself as God, but as we read in scripture his end will be the lake of fire as Revelation chapter 19 points out...

Always remember brethren, and friends that our Messiah, while in the flesh, knew what His mission was while here on earth... He was to introduce to the world God Himself, and redemption for those willing to believe on Him... He went about doing the will of His Father in heaven, yet still found time to attend weddings, and enjoy His life... Obviously Jesus did not like the spiritual state mankind was in, but He did not allow that to deter Him for bringing joy to others despite knowing what He would have to endure on our behalf... He did not sin of course, and wants us at all cost to not transgress His commandments either, or to take for granted our Father in heaven's mercy and grace... We have been brought into the body of Messiah to be saints, not sinners... We do not have to sin to still enjoy our physical lives as many believe... Our freedom is in Christ Jesus, and as long as we are striving to please our Father in heaven, He will be with us to the end... And that end is indeed glorious for those who finish the race... God bless to all, and may His peace be with you...
