Abadi: Iraq's economy will emerge stronger from the current crisis

Showed Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Thursday, confidence in the ability of the Iraqi economy to weather the financial crisis and out of it stronger, as he thanked the German government to give Iraq a loan of 500 million euros.

He said the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi told a joint news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin and I followed (the long-Presse), said that "imports obtained by Iraq's crude oil decreased to 15% from what it was two years ago because of the significant decline in oil prices ".

He called al-Abadi, to "exploit the financial crisis to diversify economic resources," expressing his confidence in "the ability of the Iraqi economy to weather the financial crisis and out of it stronger."

And he gave al-Abadi, thanks, "the German government to give Iraq a loan of 500 million euros," stressing "the importance of the loan to complete the projects and modernization of the Iraqi economy and provide solutions for the displaced."
