Oil announces an unprecedented rise in exports for the month of January

The Oil Ministry announced on Monday for an unprecedented rise in oil exports for the month of January last, noting that the average selling price of $ 22 per barrel.

He said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad told a news interview "preliminary statistical oil exports for the month of January last amounted to 101 839 743 barrel", adding that "this amount is the highest and unprecedented in the Total Petroleum Exporting quantities"

Jihad said that "the average daily oil exports for the month of January amounted to 3.285 million barrels, with daily production rate for the same month stood at 3.9 million barrels."

Jihad said that "the revenue generated by these exports amounted to two billion and 262 million dollars, with an average price of $ 22 and 212 cents."

The Oil Ministry announced on the first of January that the total oil exports to Iraq last month (December) amounted to 99 million and 658 thousand and 761 barrels, indicating that the daily rate for export stood at three million and 215 barrels.
