Abadi is ready to give the post of chief of staff of the Iraqi army for the Kurds

Announced the decision of the Commission on Security and Defense parliamentary, Hakhuan Abdullah, on Friday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is ready to give the post of chief of staff of the Iraqi army for the Kurds, which was occupied by Babacar Zebari earlier, indicating that the post currently occupied by one of his close associates "by proxy".

He said the decision of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security, Network Roudao media, "the Kurdistan Region to submit the names of candidates for this position to the prime minister, but the latter is not ready to ratify one of the candidates."

The prime minister Haider al-Abadi has decided, in (June 29, 2015), refer the Army Chief of Staff Gen. Babacar Zebari to retirement, while Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi said in (July 2, 2015), that the post of Chief of Staff is subject to debate and consensus.
