Tahrir protesters are demanding not to prejudice the salaries of employees and retirees

Hundreds of citizens, civilians and activists, on Friday, in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad to demand not to touch the salaries of employees and retirees, while demonstrators stressed the need for judicial reform and the fight against corruption and implementation of further government reforms.

Said Alsumaria News correspondent in Baghdad, said that hundreds of citizens, civilians and activists demonstrated, this afternoon, in Tahrir Square, the center of the capital, pointing out that the demonstrators demanded the need not to prejudice the salaries of employees and retirees.

He added that the demonstrators editorial stressed the need for the provision of services and the reform of the judiciary and the fight against corruption and implementation of further government reforms.

The Baghdad and other Iraqi provinces experiencing weekly mass demonstrations to protest against the rampant corruption in government institutions, and to demand accountability embezzlers and corrupt and the implementation of government reforms.
