Central Bank calls for banks to buy new gold coins

It called on the central bank, today, banks to buy gold Meskukath categories [100] and [250] dinars, indicating that the coins of 100 arrived in Iraq and sold for 720 000 dinars. He added, "It was also agreed to seek five thousand specie category 250 dinars weight 22 grams on the occasion of the sixty-eighth anniversary of the founding of the Central Bank of Iraq in 1947".

He pointed out that the bank "received the first category of these coins that are weighing 15 grams and will be put up for sale by banks."

He explained, "it was to determine the sale price of banks on the basis of cost and out of Baghdad International Airport plus administrative Downloads 1% of the cost to be the price per minted from this category by 720 000 dinars."
