The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in the Kurdistan region, Sunday, for suspending the entry of foreign workers to the Kurdistan region for a period of three months, indicating that about nine thousand foreign workers are in the region.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mohammad Haodiagn: "We decided to suspend the entry of foreign workers to the Kurdistan region for three months," noting that "the measure is designed to evaluate and re-examine the development of foreign labor."

He Haodiagn, that "foreign labor affected the local employment, and we will review it to take the necessary decision on entry into the future," following it, "according to the available information there are about nine thousand foreign workers in the region."
