Japan is considering providing material assistance to Iraq

The head of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, on Monday, that Japanese companies will have an important role in the reconstruction of the liberated areas of the organization "Daash", among the Japanese ambassador in Iraq Fumio Iwai that his country is considering providing "substantial" material assistance to Iraq to improve the situation of displaced.

The head of Parliament's office said in a press statement, said that "al-Jubouri, received today (yesterday), the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, Fumio Iwai."

Office was quoted as saying al-Jubouri, said that "the presence of Japan will be important in the reconstruction of cities plans after its liberation from Daash terrorist gangs," he said, adding "Japan's role is important in the development of the Iraqi economy."

For his part, through the Japanese ambassador expressed "thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Iraqi parliament in the consolidation of bilateral relations between the two countries," noting that "his country is considering providing significant financial aid dedicated to improving the conditions of internally displaced persons and facilitate their return to their areas."

Ambassraliapana stressed, "the importance of solidarity of the international community in support of Iraq and especially in my human rights and displaced persons."

Iraq has seen the biggest exodus in its history, after the control of the elements of the organization "Daash" on a number of cities and districts and areas in the west and north of the country, before Iraqi forces can regain control of many of these areas.
