Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari announced that the government will take effective measures to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel in Iraq.
Jaafari's announcement came during a meeting yesterday with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the sidelines of attending the session of the UN Security Council scheduled to be discussed today the Turkish incursion in Iraq.
