Minister of Construction: allocation of six billion dollars

The Minister of Construction and Housing and Municipalities and Public Works, Tariq Kikhany allocation of six billion dollars in the next year in 2016 for the reconstruction of infrastructure projects.

According to a ministry statement, received by the agency all of Iraq [where], a copy of the Kikhany "met with the Chinese ambassador to Iraq, China's trade attache and his accompanying delegation and discussed with him ways of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of infrastructure reconstruction in the country."

The statement quoted Kikhany to say, that "Iraq needs investment of foreign companies discreet including Chinese companies, especially that there are a number of projects implemented by Chinese companies currently in Iraq in a way payment on credit."

He pointed out that "the ministry is seeking to develop the technical potential through the participation of international companies and the transfer of expertise and experiences of developed countries in the field of reconstruction and construction."

Kikhany He pointed to "the allocation of six billion dollars for 2016 for the reconstruction of infrastructure projects in Iraq, and we are working hard to attract foreign companies, including Chinese companies to contribute to the reconstruction of infrastructure such as water and sewage, roads and bridges."

For their part, the Chinese ambassador and his entourage, according to the statement, expressed "thanks to the hand of the Minister for the warm reception and generous hospitality", calling on the minister for "projects carried out by these companies which will come in the near future and strongly to contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq."
