Parliamentary Finance Committee announced the readiness of the draft budget law for fiscal 2016 from a technical point. This was followed by Chairman of the Committee Faleh in force in the parliament session today the report of his committee about the stages of completion of the draft budget law and referred it to reduce capital expenditures compared to an increase of operating expenses. " He noted the force to "reduce the non-oil revenues of more than 1 trillion and 700 billion dinars," alluding to "the completion of the budget discussion with the Ministry of Finance and all the concerned authorities and the completion of discussions over the next five days."
It was announced in force, "the Finance Committee's intention to provide the budget after these discussions to the Presidency of the Council next Monday."
The House of Representatives has completed in its meeting on 22 of last month's discussion of the draft federal budget for the 2016 law, while the cabinet reshuffled them to reduce the deficit, estimated at 22.7 trillion dinars, the equivalent of 21% of total expenditure compared to the expenses of 106 trillion dinars.
For its part, the government modified the budget to reduce total expenditure by five trillion dinars to be 101 trillion dinars, said a member of the parliamentary finance committee Majida al-Tamimi, said.
According to what she said Tamimi, the size of the deficit reduction in the new budget [101 trillion dinars] with the same survival of the imports [84 trillion dinars] will drop to 17 trillion dinars and constitute 16.2% of the total Almoisnh.
