Ministerial Council for National Security met on Sunday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haidar al-Abbadi and took the whole set of resolutions relating to immigrants and provide services to them and to protect power lines from terrorist attacks.
He touched on the success of the visit the death of Imam Hussein, peace and the efforts made by state institutions and security services and the secretariats of the holy sites, and crowds of citizens and visitors to it.
The Council also discussed the blatant Turkish military intervention in Iraqi territory, and issued the following statement:
Ministerial Council for National Security Iraq renews rejection of the entry of Turkish troops into Iraq, who had no knowledge without the consent of the Iraqi government's position and considered it a violation of sovereignty and a breach of the principles of good neighborliness.
The Board declared that Iraq has the right to use all available options, including the recourse to the UN Security Council in the absence of the withdrawal of these forces within 48 hours.
