FM: Iraq is looking to increase Japanese investments

Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Friday, that Iraq is looking forward to increase the volume of Japanese investments in the presence of many investment opportunities, stressing the government's commitment to working to achieve security, stability and improve the investment climate.
He said Secretary of State's office in a statement seen by, the agency "our economy" news, said that "al-Jaafari met Thursday evening, Masahisa Sato and a number of members of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Japanese Senate," noting that "the two sides reviewed the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, and the positive developments ".
Office was quoted as saying al-Jaafari, said that "Iraq is looking forward to increase the volume of Japanese investments in the presence of many investment opportunities," stressing "the government's commitment to working to achieve security, stability and improve the investment climate."


He said al-Jaafari, that "the phenomenon of terrorism are the major challenges facing the international community, and should enhance cooperation in anti-terrorism measures, and the exchange of information", stressing that "the insistence of the Iraqi government to the fight against terrorist organizations."
He said al-Jaafari, that "international efforts to combat Daash were not the level of ambition as it has widened the scope of terrorism in the countries targeted, as well as increasing numbers of elements," stressing that "the Iraqis are fighting with all the honor in defense of themselves and on behalf of the whole world and all that Iraq needs is the support intelligence and humanitarian service. "
The President of the Republic stressed Fuad Masum, in (September 72 015), the importance of the Iraqi-Japanese relations and the need to continue to develop and progress the way that serves both countries and peoples.
