The parliamentary finance committee, warned the government to borrow from the National Bank of Qatar, saying that Qatar will impose the dictates of the economic impact on Iraq and the Iraqi Foreign two policies.

The committee member said Masood Haider in a press statement, that "the government and the Finance Ministry said it would borrow about $ 12.6 billion from multiple views to meet the projected shortfall in the budget next year," explaining that "some international bodies have incapacitating and strict conditions reflect negatively on Iraq."

He added that "the parliamentary Finance Committee has a large reservation to borrow from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in addition to the National Bank of Qatar", noting that "the reservations came from all the blocks in the Committee."

He said Haider said that "borrowing from the state bank continued to certain dictates of the state will impose on Iraq and may adversely affect the Iraqi economic policy and even foreign policy."

The draft 2016 budget included several loans, including a loan of one billion and a half billion dollars from the National Bank of Qatar, raising questions about the reason for the request a loan from Qatar while several political parties accused Qatar of meddling in Iraqi affairs and supporting "terrorism."
