The judiciary shall send the draft law to reduce the salaries of judges and public prosecutors to Parliament

Judicial Authority announced that it had sent a draft law to reduce the judges and public prosecutors' salaries to the House of Representatives, indicating that it came to taking into account the financial circumstances of the country.

A spokesman for the Judicial Council, Abdul Sattar Bayrakdar in a statement seen by Radio tow that "the Supreme Judicial Council has prepared a draft law that includes the salaries of all judges and public prosecutors working in the federal judiciary reduction," noting that "the project was sent to the House of Representatives for the purpose of legislation."

Bayraktar said that "the move was based on what was approved by the Supreme Judicial Council in its last meeting held on the 18th of this November," pointing out that "the decision comes into account the financial circumstances of the country."
