Maliki's coalition says there is an agreement to cancel the paragraphs of the budget regarding Kurdistan

Shafaq News / MP for State of law coalition ,Haider Mawla said on Saturday that there is an agreement within the parliament not to remain Kurdistan Region's share

to 17 percent as it was in budget of 2016.

Al-Mawla said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that "Parliament is working to cancel the paragraph in this budget if the region didn’t commit to pay sums of exported oil or non-commitment of the government to pay dues of the region so each will be dependant in its financial and oil obligations and this is contrasted with budget items. "

"The region's share of appointments in the budget is amounted to 23 percent and this is incompatible with the reality on the ground, not in line with the population of the region," adding that "the budget lacked appointments so how this percentage is allocated to the region."

Al-Mawla explained that "the blocs will also work to cancel other articles which is that Kurdistan oil of 300 000 barrels of oil and is considered within the budget of the region's share , this is a tacit acknowledgment that Kirkuk belongs to Kurdistan Region and this cannot be done , as the oil belongs to the Iraqi people.
