Finance: budget exceeded the possible return to the Government after its second reading

(Voice of Iraq)-Iraq parliamentary Finance Committee, announced Wednesday that the Government would send amendments to the budget bill for the year 2016, indicating that the Committee is not bound by these amendments, confirmed that the second reading of the law exceeded the possible return to the Government.

Committee member Rep. Jabar Al-Abbadi said in an interview for alsumaria news, "read the House budget as second reading, beyond the possibility of return to Government or refusing in principle to be returned to the Government", adding that "the Government would send amendments to the budget extension, and these amendments will be the subject of debate in the Finance Committee and the House of representatives".

He said Al-Abadi, said that "the Commission is not bound by the amendments, and can respond to them or modify them".

The House was finished, Tuesday (17 November 2015), the second reading of the budget law for the year 2016, while Parliament Speaker Salim Al-jubouri, Parliament has the eligibility to make transfers in the budget bill for the year 2016, pointing out the adjustments to the budget according to the requirements of the World Bank.
