The head of the Integrity Court Judge Jumaa al-Saadi said in a statement today, "The court considered the case concerning the former Minister of Environment Sargon Lazar Salioh on charges related to corruption."

He added that he "decided to sentence him and Jahia severe imprisonment for a period of two years," pointing out that "the decision was made ​​in accordance with Article 340 of the Penal Law No. 111 of 1969".

Saadi said that "the court ordered the convict to pay $338 million to the state treasury," pointing out that "the applicant Salioh now in prison serving his sentence."
