Parliamentary security and defense: Four-party alliance is rejected because this will lead us to polarizations policy

Shafaq News / The member of the parliamentary defense and security committee, Hakhuan Abdullah confirmed on Sunday, that the four-party alliance is rejected

by the majority of members of the security and defense committee, considering any statements in favor of Iraq's accession to the alliance either by the Chairman of the Committee or some of its members as reflect his personal point of view and do not necessarily represent the opinion of the Committee.

Abdullah said in a press release, reported to Shafaq News, that the Security and Defense Committee rejected altogether the existence of any support for the Four-party alliance, which includes Iraq, Syria, Iran and Russia.

He stressed that any member of the Committee announce his support for this alliance, whether the Chairman of the Committee or its members is expressing his personal opinion only, and it is not right what is spread that the security and defense committee supports the quartet alliance.

He added that the Commission has repeatedly explained the reasons for its reservation on Iraq's joining the quartet alliance that it will lead to polarizations policy, pointing out that it's damages are more than its benefits.

The countries of Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria have announced early last month, a joint coordination to fight "ISIS" through intelligence operations room based in Baghdad.
