The United States strongly condemned the attack on the camp yesterday [freedom] and west of Baghdad, killing and wounding dozens of residents.

The US Secretary of State John Kerry in a statement yesterday expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, adding that the United States had been in contact with senior Iraqi officials to ensure the provision of emergency assistance to those in need.
Kerry urged the Iraqi government to provide additional protection for the population of the camp and bring the perpetrators to justice and held accountable for the attack.
He called on more countries to help address the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Iraq by welcoming the transfer of the residents of Camp [freedom] and to contribute to the fund established by the United Nations to support the resettlement.
Kerry stressed the continuation of the US State Department to participate in international efforts to resettle the residents of Camp [Liberty] and taking them to a permanent and safe sites as soon as possible.
The missile fell 15 [Katyusha] last night in the vicinity of Camp [Liberty] west of the capital, near the Baghdad International Airport, killing about 50 people and wounding dozens.
The Camp Liberty was a US military base in the past but it now houses about two thousand people from the Organization [create] Iranian Almardh.
