Gulf economic forum kicks off in the 25th of this month in Doha

Hosts Qatar on 25 26 October being the Gulf economic forum under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar Chairman of session of the GCC Summit Doha Sheraton.

Forum works to translate the decision of the GCC Consultative Summit held in Riyadh on May 5 2009 in the Gulf, the involvement of the private sector in the economic committees of the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council along with the decision of the leaders of the GCC States in the thirty-fourth Summit, held in Doha on 9 December 2014 to examine the theme of partnership between the public and private sectors.

Targeted Chambers gcc release events this year to achieve economic integration among the GCC States essentially works to eliminate obstacles to trade between the Gulf Cooperation Council along with promoting exports and investment environment in the GCC States by opening several partnerships with institutions and organizations in the Gulf and Arabic and Islamic and international levels, and to support youth programs and pioneers and entrepreneurs of the GCC, as exemplified by the Forum at its first session this year.

According to the decision of the Council of the Federation in the thirty-eighth meeting, held in Kuwait on 27 March 2011 will be established "Gulf economic forum" to be a powerful platform through which the private sector can deliver vision and directions for economic development in the GCC countries and strive towards achieving economic citizenship and remove challenges and obstacles to trade between the Gulf Cooperation Council.
