UAE company signs agreement to provide Internet services in Iraq

"Yahsat", is the operator of satellite communications services of the Mubadala Development Company () in a statement, that this agreement will pave the way for the operation and distribution of "yah klick" Affiliate "Yahsat" for all governmental institutions and sectors that use communication services of the company "sky orbit".

The Convention provides for "sky orbit" expansion of existing projects with the Iraqi Government and the private sector through providing application services "yah klick" on the menu of services.

"David Murphy" Chief Commercial Officer in company "Yahsat" according to the statement, that this new Convention task being allows us to provide integrated satellite communications services for all organizations and governmental bodies in Iraq.

"Said Walid Taha" Chairman "sky orbit" association agreement with "Yahsat", will provide the best Internet services to all remote areas outside of Baghdad and southern region such as Basra, Najaf and Amarah.

"Taha" in the same statement, these services will include all areas where there are no Internet service, as well as provided in all areas that fall under the coverage of the company (sky orbit) in Iraq.

And "Hey klick" is the first service in the region allows users of satellite Internet, subscribers increased by 42% in 2014, to 34,000 subscribers from around the world.

And "Hey klick" quick connection via satellite for several sectors, including small and medium-sized businesses, health care, education, oil and gas companies and non-governmental institutions and individuals.

It was founded "Yahsat" in 2007 to meet the growing demand in the region to alfsaaeh communication services by governmental bodies, companies and individuals, and to support the ambitions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in promoting itself as a Centre for broadcasting and telecommunications, the company now includes coverage of 28 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Central and South West Asia.
